It’s less than two weeks until the RCSU Science Challenge 2014 launch event, on Tuesday December 3rd. Come along to find out what prizes will be on offer and to hear the judges speak about science communication and reveal their questions for this year’s Challenge. The Science Challenge is our flagship event of 2014 and has included numerous distinguished judges. We have now announced all of our judges for this year. Professor Fay Dowker is a Professor of Theoretical Physics here at Imperial. Jon Kudlick is the director of communications with the Society of Biology. Pallab Ghosh is a science correspondent with the BBC. And Dr Jad Marrouche is a research associate with the Department of Physics, whose work often takes him to CERN.

Evening Schedule: 6:30 PM – Doors open, and you can explore our arrangement of science demos in the foyer of the building. 7:00 PM – The Science Challenge Launch commences in G16 in SAF. 8:30 PM – Buffet snacks and drinks opens in the SAF foyer, with the opportunity to network with Imperial students and staff, as well as our invited guests and judges. 10:00 PM – Event closes.
